Product of the Week-Erin Condren Planner

Good morning my blog friends! We can do this....only 1 more day until the weekend :)

I ran across a new blog and decided to link with the girls for Product of the Week. My Erin Condren planner is product of the week because I seriously could not survive without it this week or for the next 3 months at that.

I discovered this handy dandy planner at one of my Junior League meetings from Meredith. Being OCD and a crazy organizer already, this just enabled it more ;) Having tons of sticky notes and list is my guilty pleasure but now I dont have to do that because I can make list for the week it applies to! The Erin Condren planners are the best thing since sliced bread! Even though they are a pretty penny for a planner its totally worth it. You even get to customize your planner and there are soo many designs and colors to choose from. Along with the planner comes stickers, customized labels, and cards. Theres also so much extra space to write down your thoughts for the week or month. Without this planner, my life would be soo much more hectic.

Here's just a glimpse of how crazy/yet organized my weeks are!

So if you need something to get your life more organized, I highly recommend and Erin Condren Planner! Happy Thursday :)

Weekend Recap & Easter

Happy Tuesday my Loves!

As promised, I'm going to share a few of my adventures I had while in Dallas. Can I just say that even though I love the small town feeling, I LOVE the city too!!! Maybe because of all the shopping, resturants, activities, etc. Moving on.....So as soon as I got to Kayla's house we popped open a bottle of wine & solved the worlds problems as if we had never left college. The next morning I got dressed and visited her kinder class! Oh and her classroom is soo presh!

Next stop: Northpark Mall....Eeekk!!! If you can't already tell I love this mall & to shop period. I was there literally before the doors open. So I'm just a little obsessed.  First stop was Nordstrom:

Just kidding....Gahh I wish! However I did get my TB flops...sorry no pic.

Once the damage in the shoe dept was done I made my way to a few of my fav stores:

-Forever 21

-Sephora

-H&M(LOVE)

-Steve Madden

-VS

Lets just say I did enough damage than most normal people do in 6 months. And dont you hate carrying bags and a big purse around while shopping??? I needed Reid there to help ;)

Since I'm such an OCD nerd, I decided to visit The Container Store. Oh Emm Gee I was in organizing heaven!!!! Literally I could have spent all day in there but the only drawback is that my poor 4 dr Acura couldn't hold any more purchases :(

Overall my shopping trip went as planned or better! On a serious note, I'm so blessed and thankful for my job and that its enough to support my habits. Kayla and I met a few girls at Gloria's later that night for happy hour. The Sangria was yummy!!!

Saturday consisted of Reid's mom and I dying eggs. Even though I'm 25 I wouldnt have it any other way but to continue holiday traditions! Reid cooked out on the grill and I threw something together in the kitchen. We <3 to cook together!

Easter Sunday I went to the church service with Reid's family and the afternoon with my fam. Easter egg hunts, good food, and lots of cousins is what our Easter consisted of. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Roadtrip

ROADTRIP-One of my most fav things to do!

Bags are packed and ready to head to Dallas. Not only is Dallas one of my fav places to shop but a few pretty special friends live there as well. I'm actually going to visit my college roomie/soroity sister!!!! So excited :) Kayla and I lived together for 3 years in college and were roomates in the Delta Dome(Tri Delta house) I miss her more than ever. Crazy to think by senior year we were ready to dive off into the big world but both would like a few more years living as poor college kids in the Dome. I'll give you a sneak peak of us hmm about 5 years ago ;)

So while I'm in Dallas I will visit Kayla's kinder class! I can't wait to see the little munchkins :) Then I will hit up Northpark Mall....I Die!!!! This trip has been planned for several months so you can imagine how much $$$ I've saved and cant wait to splurge like no other. Seriously this is a high for me! Curious to know what I have my eye on??? I'll let you in on a few things:

 Colored Wedges- A MUST for the Spring/Summer. Not sure what color yet....any ideas?

 Tory Burch Flip Flops- I am dying to have the came color pair! Nordstrom better have them or I will be one unhappy shopper.

 Lipgloss- Theres no word to describe my crazy obsession with it. Along with gloss, I basically love any kind of make up. Thats why I plan to drop in at Sephora and get all new make up :) Plus as a Beauty Insider you get 15% off & ends tomorrow!

Colored Skinnies- I die!!!! I cant wait to wear coral or mint skinnies to girls night! I plan to purchase coral, mint, pink, and blue. Any more suggestions??? Oh and also mint heels are on my list.

Now dont worry these aren't the only items on my list....just a few. I plan to buy many sundresses and cute tanks that can be paired with wedges, scarves, layered necklaces, etc.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend as I wont be back blogging until Monday. At that time I will let you all know how my shopping trip turned out along with the much needed QT w/Kayla.

April Go For the Goal

April Go For the Goal

Today I am linking up with Megan & setting my goals for April. Cross your fingers I stick to 'em! I did better in March than expected when it comes to saving and diet & excersise. However, the only reason I probaly did so well is due to the fact that I have a HUGE retail therapy trip planned to Dallas tomorrow :))) As you can see this makes my heart smile soo big! Oh so bk to April Goals:

1. Save $500-and this time it will not go towards another shopping trip. But come to think of it....I have a trip to Chicago and Houston for business and that will require me to shop. Oh well I'll try!

2. Get bikini ready-I will try to loose another 10 lbs. Sounds easy? Well I thought so too but not so. So if any of my blogger friends have any tips I'll sure take 'em!

3. Study Study Study- I'm taking the PHR test in June(yea sounds like forever from now) and I have 8 textbooks to read. BLAHH!!! I really need to study every day after work :(

4. Attend church every Sunday- Because Reid and I are always on the go, we've gotten out of routine and must get back into the habit of attending church every Sunday.

5. HH-I'm guilty of planning or attending happy hour with friends 2-3/week. I really need to cut back for numerous reasons. I never feel like I have time at home during the week for myself. I will have ME time this month.

GNO & Prom

Happy Monday Y'all! I hope you all survived this crazy day as I barely did!

Soo luckily my weekend started last Thursday(yes I felt as if I were in college again). Some girlfiriends and I had dinner and drinks at Superior Bar & Grill. And if any of you haven't heard of this place it's a must! Now I will warn you and say that the margaritas are deadly & will knock those pretty little heels out from under you. Just ask me! After dinner I joined in on some fun at a co workers house for sangria on the patio. Again I felt as if I were in college due to a) having plans on a Thursday night b) sipping on cocktails on a "work" night and c)going from one place to another. We had so much fun just hanging out, laughing, and doing some gossiping that we cant do @ work ;) Later on that night a few of the girls needed some Chinese food to get them through the night and well I had to have at least a fortune cookie. Please see below for my fortune. China Bear knows me too well. Loves it!!!

So our "Precious"(my sweet baby sister) had a date to Prom this past Saturday. Something would be totally wrong if I didn't brag a little bit. Abbey was absolutely beautiful. I felt as if she went from a little girl to a beautiful young woman in the blink of an eye. I spent the whole day with her as she got a pedi, nails, hair and makeup done. Her date was just as sweet as everyone described. We were so blessed to not have to worry about her the whole night. Thank the Lord there are still gentlemen at this day and age. Now I'm not gonna lie....as soon as she left I cried. I cant help it though....she is growing up fast and I feel old, but most importantly I'm so proud of the sweet little lady she has become. Hers presh!

And this my friends just about sums up my weekend! GNO & playing dress up with the little sister....what more could a girl ask for???
