Well I've come to the conclusion that I am in fact some sort of a clothes/shoes/accessory hoarder. Until I started packing & cleaning out, I never realized how much stuff I really have! As most of you don't know, I currently live with my sister who is 21. We've decided to get our own place and give each other space. It's def bittersweet but much needed. Currently, I have a closet big enough to put a twin bed in. Seriously I do! However, in the new place its about half the size. So.....looks like I have to downsize or find a new way to become very efficent in my organizing. Here is what my current closet looks like and please excuse the mess! I've started packing shoes and handbags already.
Currently I have a few ideas of what I could do about this problem:
1. Go on a clean out streak. Sort through some things I don't need anymore.
2. Store off season attire in my storage closet that is inside my garage. But then I worry about it being stored in a non airconditioned enviroment.
3. SHOES.....heres the real problem. I know it doesnt look like it from the pics but that's because most are already packed. Not all of my shoes will fit on my shelves at the new place.
4. I've already bought a new belt holder and I have a necklace holder built by the one and only, Reid! So accessories are covered.
5. I plan to buy more shelving to add a second row in the closet.
I would love to hear some great storage tips, organizing ideas, etc. I need all the help I can get! This is the most stressful part about moving for me! Sad I know.....
